Built for Accuracy. Defined by Standards. Sustained by Consistency.

The Kitabō™ Precision Series is developed for laboratories where measurement accuracy is non-negotiable. Every piece in this series is designed, manufactured, calibrated, and verified strictly in accordance with internationally accepted standards—without shortcuts, substitutions, or compromise.

Applicable Standards & Specifications

Kitabō™ Precision glassware is manufactured and calibrated in compliance with relevant ISO and DIN standards, including (but not limited to):

Volumetric Flasks:

ISO 1042 / DIN EN ISO 1042

Measuring Cylinders:

ISO 4788 / DIN EN ISO 4788

Pipettes (Volumetric & Graduated):

ISO 648, ISO 835 / DIN EN ISO equivalents

Burettes (Manual & Automatic):

ISO 385 / DIN EN ISO 385

Each product is classified and supplied as Class A, where applicable, ensuring the tightest permissible tolerances defined by the standard.

Dimensional Control & Tolerances

Precision is not limited to volume accuracy alone. Kitabō™ controls all critical dimensional parameters, including:

  • Nominal capacity tolerance (as per ISO/DIN limits)
  • Overall height and graduation spacing
  • Internal diameter and neck uniformity
  • Meniscus readability and graduation clarity

These dimensions directly impact repeatability, ease of use, and long-term measurement reliability—especially in routine and regulated laboratory environments.

Calibration Conditions & Environment

All volumetric calibration is performed under strictly controlled laboratory conditions, including:

  • Reference temperature: 20 °C (as defined by ISO/DIN standards)
  • Air pressure & density correction: Applied where required
  • Cleanliness:
Calibration labs follow controlled cleaning protocols to eliminate surface contamination, residue, or particulate interference that may affect meniscus behavior.

Only distilled water is used for calibration—never regular filtered or deionized substitutes—to ensure consistency with standard reference density values.

Calibration Methodology

Kitabō™ follows a rigorous multi-step calibration process:

  1. Initial measurement performedfour times
  2. Measurements conducted on two different certified analytical balances
  3. Results are cross-verified for repeatability and deviation
  4. Calibration marking applied only after validation
  5. Final (5th) confirmation measurement carried out post-marking

This approach ensures both process accuracy and marking integrity.

Calibration Equipment

All calibration work is carried out using certified analytical balances, with traceable and up-to-date calibration, including equipment from leading global manufacturers such as:

  • Shimadzu
  • Sartorius
  • Mettler Toledo

Equipment recalibration is performed at defined intervals to maintain traceability and compliance.

QR-Enabled Certification

Kitabō™ Precision glassware is QR-enabled for seamless documentation access.

  • Each volumetric flask, measuring cylinder, pipette, or burette carries a unique QR code
  • Users can instantly download the Class A Calibration Certificate
  • Eliminates paperwork dependency and supports audit readiness

Accuracy is not just built—it is documented and accessible.

Volumetric Flask Options

Neck Sizes (Fast-Moving Standards)
Commonly supplied neck sizes include industry-preferred configurations to ensure compatibility and ease of replacement.

Closure Options

  • Ground glass stopper
  • PTFE stopper (interchangeable) for enhanced chemical resistance and durability

Both options are manufactured to maintain airtight sealing without affecting calibration integrity.

Pipettes & Burettes

Pipettes
Kitabō™ supplies both volumetric and graduated pipettes conforming to ISO and DIN standards, offering high drainage consistency, clean tip formation, and precise volume delivery.

Burettes (Manual & Automatic)

  • Manufactured as Class A as per ISO 385
  • Designed for smooth stopcock operation, leak resistance, and clear readability
  • Automatic burettes available for repetitive and high-precision titration work

One Product. One Standard.

At Kitabō™, precision glassware is not treated as a collection of parts—glass, markings, calibration, certification, or packaging.
It is treated as one integrated unit, built to perform reliably across its entire working life.

Kitabō™ Precision Series reflects our commitment to accuracy that lasts, documentation that stands scrutiny, and processes that do not change with volume or time.
