The Kitabō™ Performance Series is designed for laboratories that demand durability, thermal reliability, and consistent performance in everyday operations. This range focuses on non-calibrated, high-use glassware where strength, usability, and longevity matter as much as compliance.
Every piece is produced under controlled processes and evaluated as a complete functional unit—not just a glass form.
Beakers
Manufactured in accordance with ISO 3819 / DIN EN ISO 3819, Kitabō™ beakers are available in:
- Reinforced wall construction
- With spout and handle
- With spout only
- Plain form (without spout or handle)
All beakers are properly annealed at approximately 560 °C to relieve internal stresses and improve thermal shock resistance during heating, cooling, and routine lab handling.
Graduations are printed using durable inks, and Kitabō™ offers a lifetime printing performance assurance under defined usage conditions, ensuring legibility throughout the product’s working life.
Round Bottom (RB) & Flat Bottom (FB) Flasks
Kitabō™ RB and FB flasks are manufactured as per relevant ISO and DIN standards (including DIN EN ISO 1773 where applicable), ensuring:
- Uniform wall thickness
- Accurate diameter-to-volume proportions
- Stable base geometry for FB flasks
Example – 500 ml Flask
Typical dimensional control includes consistent bulb diameter and neck proportions designed to balance heating efficiency, stability, and ease of handling.
These flasks are optimized for heating, reflux, and general laboratory applications requiring dependable glass behavior under thermal load.
Erlenmeyer (Conical) Flasks
Manufactured in compliance with ISO 1773 / DIN EN ISO 1773, Kitabō™ Erlenmeyer flasks are engineered for efficient mixing and agitation.
- Optimized cone angle for vortex formation
- Stable base for orbital and manual swirling
- Clear, durable graduations
Every Erlenmeyer flask undergoes a swirl test to verify balance, flow consistency, and ergonomic performance—ensuring predictable behavior during mixing and titration.
Media Bottles
Kitabō™ media bottles are produced with GL thread finishes and supplied with amber autoclavable caps, suitable for light-sensitive media storage.
Key features include:
- Autoclave resistance up to 145 °C
- High-quality borosilicate glass for chemical durability
- Amber coloration for UV and light protection
Each bottle is leak-tested individually to ensure seal integrity, pressure reliability, and safe long-term storage.
